What is Electricity?
Electricity is the movement of free electrons.
How is Electricity made?
Electricity is made by rotating magnets, which creates an electro-magnetic fleid that moves the electrons in the coil windings.
Can Electricity be made from Waves?
It is possible for electricity to be made by waves, because of the rocking motion the waves make, we could place a magnet on a hinge. This movement of the magnet will create and electro-magnetic field which will create electricity in the wire coils.
Are there any working wave-power station?
There is a few working power stations, one of which is a station in Islay called 'Limpet', this particlaular station uses an inclined oscillating water column (OWC), that works by a wave pushing air trapped inside through non-return vavles and a turnbine, that turns and makes electricity, then when the wave retracts the water level lowers and this causes a low pressure where air is then sucked in to the construction through another set of non-return vavle which turn the turnbine again and the process restarts. There is also a test station called 'The Salter Duck' which used buoyant moored techonology.

There is Oscillating water column, Buoyant moored device and Hinged contoured device.
